Members of Shetland supergroup Fiddlers' Bid who have also performed together as a duo for over 10 years, Catriona McKay, (Scottish harp) and Chris Stout, (Shetland fiddle) have developed a sound and style "operating at a rarefied level of expertise" (The Herald) Their repertoire draws from Shetland, Northern Isles, Scotland, Europe and beyond.

They recorded their first duo CD Laebrack in 2005, which contains ‘new readings of ancient wedding marches, original compositions brimming with contemporary influence, reels spun with muscular virtuosity, and slow airs that bring salt to the eyes. They'll be touring their second album, "The Road to Thermosa", launched May 2007. Wear your dancing shoes!
